I really love the car. The only issue is the dealer service is pretty bad. That’s my only concern.
100% true!

I never want to step into a Kia dealership again.
I don’t regret mine, but my wife does. We both love the car but she dislikes how many recalls there are. I think it’s a sign they fix their product. But the dealer experience and handling recalls have been terrible, so we won’t buy a Kia again. We do love the car though.
@Amar
The dealer must vary widely. I got my recalls fixed and it was very easy.

That’s right. Our dealer and their service department have been fantastic. KIA of Grand Blanc.
I have a 2020 model with 92,000 miles. I would totally buy another one.

Yes! I have a 2020 with just under 60,000 miles, and I love it.
I really liked it, but my opinion changed slowly. Apart from the recalls, I had the headliner removed to fix a buzzing noise near the dome light, which came back. I’ve had all the trim replaced due to the finish degrading. I have a vibration noise coming from behind the third row that I can’t track down. The shocks were replaced, and the loud thumping is gone, but it still rides rough. The auto engine stop feature broke (though some people would be happy about that), and needed repairing. One rear door was popping and squealing and they found it wasn’t attached properly.
Everything was covered under warranty, but it feels like too many issues are happening.
@Aris
I feel the same way. It looks nice, but all the little issues add up. I took a chance and won’t go with Kia again.
Kind of, I feel like I spent more money for a luxury car with too many quality issues. I’ve driven over 40k miles in a year.
There should be no reason to pay around 60k for a vehicle that needs almost half a dozen recalls in the last 6 months. I’ve got trim pieces falling off, and the rear-view mirror panel is loose. There’s an issue in the back part of the car. I was told I was supposed to have a tow hitch, but I wasn’t informed it doesn’t come with one anymore. At the time, there were no factory OEM hitches.
It’s a decent car, but many issues were known before and it’s a hassle to get them fixed with a warranty.
I really love my Telluride, except for the window trims. People complaining about recalls seem not to understand recalls often happen with new models that companies quickly resolve. This is actually a win.
@Bailey
I do get that, but I went through my 4th recall and warranty replacement. Four trims have been replaced already, and one piece they replaced has fallen off again. It’s super annoying to leave my car at the dealership just to replace a trim that keeps falling off. I ended up fixing it myself.
Guess how many times that trim has fallen off since I fixed it?
@Ansel
Yeah, that’s definitely annoying. They should address this in a serious manner, and they have the means to do research for improvement. I can only hold out comparing it to trucks that also have loose parts.
@Bailey
How did you fix the trim? My rear passenger side window trim is falling off, and the part is on crucial backorder. It’s been over a month and might take a few more weeks. My Kia dealership’s service is terrible.
@Cleo
Depending on how yours came off, if the layer from the trim came off instead of the trim from the car (which protects from outside elements going in)…
I used JB Weld epoxy solution. I pulled the trim piece from the car and separated the decorative part from it, laid it flat. I mixed the epoxy and applied it to the bottom trim, then laid the top decoration on and pushed it back into place.
I hope that makes sense. If not, DM me and I can show you some pictures. if you’re okay with DIY, it’s not hard to do.
@Ansel
I think I get what you’re saying, but since I’m leasing, I’m unsure if they would give me a hard time when I bring it in to get replaced. I’ll DM you a pic later to show how it’s coming apart, and you can let me know what you think. It’s getting worse with the colder weather, making me anxious.

I would not buy another one. I have a 2023 X-Line.

Is there a particular reason?
