@Dez
I didn’t look closely. Just thought it looked nice. I also like the new Lexus GX550.

I’m waiting for the Rivian R2 or R3 to replace my car. For now, we drive the Telluride everywhere.
I love my Telluride. I’ve had it for over a year and have only had one recall, which I just took care of.

What was the recall about?

It was for a defect that could cause the car to roll away while parked.
@Ellis
That doesn’t sound good.

You can find complaints about any vehicle on the internet. I recommend you check a variety of sources.

That’s true. Even the top brands like Toyota and Honda have recalls for serious issues if you’ve been following the news. Every brand has issues, but Kia tends to get a bad rap because their service departments aren’t always the best compared to a Lexus or Mercedes. The Telluride is the top in its class for a reason. It’s just the service that sometimes gives the brand a bad reputation, but I’ve found the vehicle really reliable.

It was fixed, and no issues since. I didn’t have any problem initially, but it’s just for safety.

I agree that it wasn’t good. I once posted a video of an incident that happened to me within a month of owning it. But I would still buy it again. The recall led to a feature I missed, which now automatically sets the parking brake when parked.

I did a lot of research because I was in your situation a month ago. It came down to almost all midsize SUVs have their issues, as companies try to cut prices. They say the biggest complaint about KIA is the service, which varies by area. I read that service times can be long because their warranty is good, but I was not patient with that. I had a Ford and never had issues.

They just added the e-brake feature that comes on automatically when you put it in park.
Not at all, this is my third one. The first was a lease, the second I owned, and then I traded it in for the 2023 SX X-Line with the terracotta leather interior.

In your case, leasing might be smarter than buying if you don’t plan to keep a vehicle for 8 or more years.

I wish it had a bigger gas tank. When towing long distances, I have to stop every 90 minutes to fill up.

I agree. My Honda Odyssey gets almost an extra 100 miles compared to my 2022 SXP.
I really love the car. The only issue is the dealer service is pretty bad. That’s my only concern.
