Hi everyone. I really enjoy my 2022 Telluride SX and haven’t had any issues with it so far. I appreciate the warranty and also have the extended coverage.
I’m considering whether it might be wise to sell it before it reaches 100k miles, as I currently have 83k. Given how much I drive, I want to stay within warranty coverage. Has anyone had experience with repairs on Tellurides or similar vehicles once they go beyond 100k miles?

I do all my own work on my Telluride and let me tell you. Underneath this thing is stupid simple. Like it looks like an early 2000’s car under there. Everything is steel and easy to get to. The only expensive repairs I’d be worried about are electrical stuff in the dash and infotainment. But brakes, suspension, bushings, control arms, and shocks are so simple and easy to get to I doubt it would be exceedingly expensive to keep it on the road.
For most people, the cost of repairing an older car is usually much lower than buying a new car, especially one priced at $50k, unless it’s a high-end German sports car. Could repairs be more expensive? It’s possible, but it’s not very likely.
