Hi everyone,
I just picked up my 2024 Telluride. Are there any specific things I should check or be aware of when collecting the car from the dealership?
Hi everyone,
I just picked up my 2024 Telluride. Are there any specific things I should check or be aware of when collecting the car from the dealership?
I inspected the car for dents, dings, paint variations, and anything unusual. Inside, I tested the turn signals, adjusted the seat, and opened the sunroofs. I also checked the leather seats for any rips or stains and made sure the included mats were present. Additionally, I verified that the owner’s manual and NFC key were in the glove box. I brought a friend who knows cars to help with the inspection. Although everything was perfect, I wanted to make sure I didn’t miss anything. Congratulations on your new car! I’ve been enjoying mine more each day.
Ensure everything aligns properly (doors, trim, etc.) and check for any missing trim tabs or pieces, just as you would with any new car. The only issues we’ve had were with a few recalls (which I appreciate Kia addressing) and a windshield replacement due to a large rock () with OEM glass from Safelite. It still feels like new with 12,000 miles on it.
Your window trim is likely to come off, your windshield may crack easily, your power seats might catch fire, and you could need a full engine replacement due to a recall. Aside from that, everything should be fine.
Check for Rat s in the engine bay and any signs of it based on true real life experience with brand new 2024 x-line
Make sure they run ALL the warning alarms with you like the back seat and coffee break.
