@Bran
Thanks! I’d expect nothing less. I’ve spent days going through this forum for sale advice and warranty pricing.
As a 6’6 individual, the front seat space is excellent. We have bulky kids’ car seats in the second row, and even with the front seats adjusted, there’s plenty of legroom.
The third row might feel tight, but if you’re seeking a roomy third row, this isn’t the right class of vehicle.
I’m 6’6 and weigh 280 lbs. I really love my 2024 SX Prestige. It’s extremely comfortable, the ride is smooth, and I enjoy the smart auto-pilot feature. I didn’t like the rims on the X Line; something about that trim didn’t appeal to us. The only downside is you need a CarPlay/Android Auto adapter for wireless use, which makes the sound less punchy than standard Bluetooth. Everyone who’s ridden in it loves the second row with ventilated seats (especially since we’re in Georgia). Plus, every 30 minutes you get a mini massage in the driver’s seat. Overall, we’re very satisfied with our purchase.
I’m 6’5 and 275 pounds, and I have a 2022 model. It fits really well.
Make sure to test drive or sit in it for more than 15 minutes. I’m 6’7 and found the EX model unbearable on my neck after half an hour due to the firm seat bottom and front pitch design.
I regret buying it.
@Bennet
Most seem to be quite satisfied based on what I’ve read.
Each car is a personal fit, and comfort can vary significantly. I appreciate hearing comments like this. I plan to do a short test drive and fiddle with the features from both the passenger and driver sides.
Given my lumbar fusion, comfort is paramount. Thank you for the honest feedback, too—I appreciate all perspectives.

I realize I might be an outlier, but I also have spine issues, and the Telluride worsened my discomfort.
Best of luck to you.

I had an overall decent experience. I tried both the SX-P X-Pro and the SX X-Pro; they feel very similar in legroom and comfort. I liked the back support adjustments. The seats were firm, which I appreciate, but I can see how it could lead to discomfort long-term.
I want to do more test driving, but your feedback alleviated some of my concerns.
I also tried the Acadia AT4 and Traverse AT4. The steering column in those sat higher for left-foot driving, which I found helpful.
Everything felt pretty alike compared to my 90,000-mile Corolla.
From a value perspective, the Telluride offers a lot for the price and the warranties.
I just need to decide what to choose. I had fun checking them all out.
I’m 6 feet tall and drive the SX. There’s plenty of room, and I really enjoy all the features, especially the heated and cooled seats in the first and second rows.
I’m a long-legged 5’8 woman, and my 2024 EX-XLine is really comfortable for me. I struggle getting into lower cars. We’ve taken this car on tons of road trips over the past nine months. As for the ride, if you set it to Comfort or Smart mode, it’s very smooth. When driving in the mountains or on windy roads, I prefer Sport mode as it tightens the steering and suspension for better responsiveness.
We’ve hauled a trailer, and it handled it brilliantly. We’ve taken it camping, to the beach, and to the mountains. It performed well during snowstorms and heavy rain. It’s comfortable and feels safe.
You will feel potholes, though. It has an SUV feel, which I enjoy. The tech is impressive. I find the absence of wireless Apple CarPlay annoying, but I bought an adapter that solves that issue.
Here are my concerns: My model lacks overhead lighting in the back seat—just above the middle and cargo area. The SX Pro has a second sunroof which would help with that, but it doesn’t benefit my model.
Also, there’s a noticeable gap between the middle console and the seat edge where stuff tends to fall through easily.
Gas mileage is decent but not stellar; I’m okay with that because I love the vehicle. The adaptive cruise control and auto-steering features are fantastic for highway driving. The safety features are top-notch.
One of my favorite functions is being able to lock/unlock/start and adjust the climate from my phone’s app. I double-check every night to ensure my car is locked in my driveway.
I hope you get one and enjoy it! It sounds like you would appreciate a touch of luxury during your appointments, best of luck!
I’m 5’9 and surprised by how well these 6’ plus guys fit in. I already have the seat all the way back, and I thought anyone taller wouldn’t fit well. It’s interesting to learn these things.

I’m 6’3 and have plenty of room now.
I would suggest the SX X-Pro. I didn’t get the Prestige because it didn’t feel worth the extra money.
The rear mirror camera seems appealing, but the field of view isn’t very wide, and it’s mainly helpful when backing up with a loaded trunk, which the main display backup camera handles just fine. The heads-up display didn’t seem necessary since the Level 2 self-driving feature on the highway makes it easy to not look down at the speed. The lane-changing feature shows blind spot cameras on the side mirrors when signaling, which is handy. Personally, I didn’t like the premium headliner on the prestige; it gets marked easily, especially with kids’ hands all over it.
The perks like outlets and heated/cooled second-row seats? You probably won’t need those, and they’ll mainly be of use to kids unless you’re often car camping with grown friends. The second row already has reclining seats, sun shades, and USB-C chargers in all rows. The X-Pro has an outlet at the back, which is handy for camping and coolers, etc.
I recommend spending that money on an extended warranty, bringing it to 10 years or 100,000 miles since it sounds like you want to keep it for a while. You can often negotiate this at the dealership, especially if it’s not a large city. I got my 2023 down to $1,800, but others have mentioned getting it as low as $1,500.
There are rumors about a hybrid coming in 2025, but that might not arrive until early 2025. The 2024 models were already out around this time last year, so an announcement is likely coming soon.
