2025 Telluride Officially Unveiled – What's New?

I saw that Kia officially updated their website for the 2025 Telluride, but I can’t find anything new or different from the 2024 version, including the pricing. What am I missing?

It seems they’ve eliminated Gravity Gray and introduced a new color called Panthera Metal. The X-Line/X-Pro versions feature blacked-out emblems, but the interior appears to be unchanged.

It seems they replaced my Gravity Gray with something called Panthera Metal that looks similar. I really love that color, and I hope they didn’t mess it up and it’s just a name change or something that makes sense.

I also don’t see Sage Green for the interior, and I can’t recall if they had the navy gray interior before. Maybe I just didn’t pay attention to the 2024 models since I have a 2023. I’m also annoyed that the SX X-Pro is gone, especially since that’s what I have. I don’t need most of the features on the Prestige, so why does the EX get the X-Pro? Plus, I’m not a fan of the headliner in the Prestige.

I really hope they create a more serious X-Pro in the future. But I’m not planning to buy anytime soon; I want to wait until a plug-in hybrid has been on the market for at least a year or two to work out the kinks. By then, maybe Toyota or Lexus will have something more competitive.

My main conclusion is that by blacking out my emblems, my 2024 model now looks like a 2025. I’m happy with that!

I expected to feel buyer’s remorse once the 2025 models were released, but I don’t. I got one of the last SX Xpro in Desert Moss (RIP the color). It was already rare to spot another one, and now… shaking my head.

Looking forward to purchasing a Telluride in the coming months.
