What do you think caused those scratches? They seem like they might be from an automatic car wash.

Honestly, if you regularly go through automatic car washes, I wouldn’t worry too much about light scratches. If you polish them out, you’ll likely just get new ones after your next wash.

Inquire at the dealership where you purchased it about who they recommend for removing scratches. Those scratches appear quite light and don’t seem to penetrate the clear coat. An experienced professional should be able to fix them in about 5 to 10 minutes.

For accurate advice, it’s best to seek out a detailing community. This issue can be resolved quickly if the person has the right tools, products, and expertise. Personally, I wouldn’t rely on a dealership for detailing. A light polish using a DA polisher and a product like Meguiar’s 205 will easily eliminate those scratches. Just remember to clay bar the area beforehand.

It’s quite simple to fix with any standard wax compound. The bigger question is whether you’re willing to put in the effort.
